Artist's Comments

Perhaps in a previous life this tree had far reaching branches, and provided shade to all those that may have visited this place. But be it from its own realisation or enforced by those around it, it painfully lost its branches...so others may grow and feel the light it once enjoyed. And it now stands there, but don't think its lifeless - its marely silently watching over all those around it in its old age.

2 of 4 in this series. Pink and Light blue are the main colours i've been playing with recently. Extracting the green from the trees and grass was a pretty long process here, of which i no longer remember the steps taken. Colour replacement did most of the work come to think of it, and curves too.

This is also a panoramic stitch, 4 photos.
